At just 18 years old, Chakra Efendi, has an impressive back catalogue of noise pop demos and bedroom recordings that sit at just under 100,000 streams on Soundcloud. Today, Laundry Echo, is stoked to be premiering Chakra Efendi’s brilliant debut single Waste of Space.
It takes just seconds for Chakra Efendi’s debut single Waste of Space to sonically spit in the face of it’s namesake. An immersion of noise takes hold of its listener as layered guitars and frantic drums set a nervously energetic platform for the remarkably cool Efendi to plaster his calm and controlled lyricism. Every sound sits perfectly be it bustling, dropping out entirely or biting back in.
