Lyrically loaded with more dread than The Kerrigan Family at the prospect of leaving Coolaroo, Avo Toast and Debt, is a song loaded with the issues that keep you awake at night. HECS Debts, terrifying ABC Radio segments and the relieving thought of dying young. It all sets the stage for what should be a pretty depressing jaunt, yet Barefoot Bowls Club somehow take this shit fight we live in make it paint a smile on your face. 

Sounding like a parallel universe in which Ruby Fields has grown up in the inner north of Melbourne rather than by the beaches of Cronulla. Barefoot Bowls Club are an intelligent band that soar on the back of front person Astrid Watt's remarkably clean vocal and hold your attention through a natural penchant for snappy song construction.
