Spit Chewy Are A Very Good Band
A couple of days ago a band name Spit Chewy followed me on Instagram. I've had their one demo stuck in my head ever since and really feel like you should too.
Despite not having a single out, Spit Chewy, have already supported the likes of British India, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, Verge Collection, Good Doogs and White Blanks. This is a four piece indie rock band out of Wollongong you probably want to get on board with right now.
Debut demo Low Steeps is built on a continual driving rhythm section decorated with enough flourishes to keep it interesting but not steal the spotlight from frontperson Anna's vocals. In parts scrappy and endearing, as all demos should be, but all in all a brilliant first offering from a very new band that you should follow on Instagram.
